Held at Welsh Chapel in central London, the AW14 collection of Alexander Mcqueen was surrounded by a dark and unsettling atmosphere. According to the introduction from Mcqueen's official site, the collection was inspired by English photographer John Deakin, and has incorporated the portraits of German-born English painter, Lucian Freud and English poet, Oliver Bernard.

The models seem to be specially chosen as they possess extremely distinct features that aligns with the sharp tailored suits, overcoats, sweaters and oversized cardigans to carry out the pale gothic vampire look. The strict silhouette concept not only illustrates the body line well, it also highlights the contrast between the oversized tops and the skinny bottoms flawlessly to prevent a bulky look. Wow, Alexander McQueen has once again proven its unique charm.
