London Collection: Menswear AW14 - Burberry Prorsum

Over the years, Burberry has successfully captured the heart of consumers and transformed them to followers. We can't exactly remember since when, but counting down with Burberry to its semi-annual runway preview has become one of our most anticipated events of the year.

Known for its British Heritage and was inspired by British decorative art. "A painterly Journey" collection has incorporated the elements of hand-painted floral, geometric abstraction, global landmarks and vintage looking London map into various outerwear, knits, bags and scarves to create the oversize and relaxing metropolitan look. After learning the intricate process of making each product, we respect the delicate craftsmanship quality that Burberry emphasised.

Yet, this collection did not captivate our attention compared to those in the past. Each look has presented with too many details that failed to coordinate as a whole. Thus, most models appeared to be disorganised rather than relaxing. Colours are also not vibrant enough to add on liveliness. And combining with most of the outfits, which are meant to be oversize, the looks turned bulky and dull. Nevertheless, we are still loyal Burberry fans. The brand has always surprised us with brilliant runway concepts and soothing British indie musics.

While browsing through the official site for our favourite item in this collection. One of our mate was attracted to the Yellow floral print silk square and was thinking to frame it and hang it at home as a painting. Do you fancy the design of AW14? If so, Burberry is having runway made to order till 22/JAN and each product can be customised with names and initials. Click here to access to Burberry Official Site for more details.

Last, highlights of numerous celebrities who had visited the show by Burberry:
