In contrast with the oversize trend that has dominated the AW14 LCM, Milan Menswear Fashion Week embarks on a series of clean cut fitting collections that demonstrates the sharp silhouette particular of the Italian style. So, let's begin the event hastily with Neil Barrett, one of our favourite minimalist menswear designer. 

Neil Barrett's runway for AW14 was surrounded by large scales of earthy, colour hues mixing with hybrid designs that resembles a tree bark. In addition, lightning bolt was also used as a graphic symbol on knits and parka pieces, which gives a touch of sportiness to the sleek outfit and adds on a sense of a street style vibe to the collection. 

These are our favourite pieces from this collection as we are attracted to the lightning bolt. The presentation of cutting, mixture of textiles and colour hues have been well balanced. The parkas especially, where the tones of black are subtlety differentiated, makes the look entirely effortless and sleek. Anything from this season attracts you?
